Daniel Gonzales

Daniel Gonzales, age 55, passed away on October 18, 2010 at his home in Tucumcari. Daniel was born on December 23, 1954 in Roswell, NM to the home of Henry and Mary (Herrera) Gonzales. He was reared and attended schools in Roswell and Las Cruces. Daniel worked for SPS in Tucumcari for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers; Henry Gonzales and Raymond Gonzales. Survivors include his wife; Susan Gonzales of Tucumcari, his sons; Daniel Gonzales and wife Liz, Reyes Gonzales and wife Isabel, his grandchildren; Cameron, Kirsten, Alexandrea, Antonio and Brandon all of Tucumcari. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters; Mike Gonzales of El Paso, Richard Gonzales, Charlie Gonzales, Paul Gonzales all of Las Cruces, Mary Uranga and husband Felipe of Roswell, Rose Carrillo and husband Steve of Santa Fe and Anita Semonia and husband David of New York. Also surviving Daniel are numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place and a memorial rosary will be held on Monday, October 25, at 10:00 AM from St. Anne’s Church in Tucumcari. Memorial mass will follow at 11:00 with Father Hyginus Anuta officiating. All services for Mr. Gonzales have been entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa.
