Trinidad C. Navarro, 78, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018, with his family at his side. Trinidad was born May 19, 1940, in Las Cruces, NM to Richard and Maria (Cortez) Navarro. Trinidad was a longtime business owner in the heart of Albuquerque’s Route 66 where he met and was well-liked by customers and friends who frequented his shop. He will be missed by all but is now flying high and free like a “Bird.” Trinidad is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Cynthia, brothers Joe, Ignacio, Danny, Ramon and Henry. Trinidad is survived by Frances “Kika” Baca, daughter Dorothy (spouse Phil) Salas, son Robert (spouse Margaret) Navarro, and daughter Cathy (spouse Mitchell) Wray. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings Sally (Donald) Gomez, Isidro “Chino” (Isabel) Navarro, Jimmy (Gloria) Navarro and Mike (Bernice) Navarro as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and many longtime friends. Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be Friday, January 11, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. at Our Lady of The Assumption Parish, on Lomas and Tennessee N.E. in Albuquerque, NM, immediately followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Santa Rosa at a later date. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Isidro “Chino” Navarro, Joe Padilla, Estevan Sanchez, Benny Sanchez, Dago Osornio, and Jairo Osornio.
