Tom Aarstad

Tom Jacob Aarstad, 53 of Clovis, NM passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas following an illness. He was born November 08, 1970 in Sheridan, Wyoming to the home of Earl and Donna (Keasling) Aarstad.

Tom attended grade school in Santa Rosa, NM. The rest of his school years were spent in Hereford, TX. He worked as a Cowboy at a number of feedyards and Ranches across the panhandle. He loved roping, fishing, BBQing, and crafting with wood.
 
Tom loved his family, his nieces, Loretta, Leona, and Marissa, nephews, Trip, Nathan, Mathew, and Colby and his grandchildren, Jill, Aubree, Kayleigh, Katherine, and Reyna, Karsen, Melvin, Miguel, Sebastian, and Kenny.
 
Tom is preceded in death by his dad Earl Aarstad who died in 2020, and his twin brothers Bobby and Billy who died in 1966.
 
Tom is survived by his mother Donna Aarstad of Clovis, NM, his sisters Coralee Padilla of Farwell, TX, Darla Chevrie of Abilene, TX, Nacole Aarstad of Tulia, TX, his daughters Kassie Aarstad of Mexico, Missouri, Tannah Slack of Lubbock, TX, Katie Esqueda of Amarillo, TX, and Kayla Aarstad of Elk City, Oklahoma.

Cremation will take place. Arrangements are under the direction of Chavez Funeral Home, 830 N. Fifth Street, Fort Sumner, New Mexico. (575) 355-2311.
