Thomas Ulibarri, 58 of Santa Rosa, NM passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021. Thomas was born on February 2, 1963 in Santa Rosa, NM to Manuel Ulibarri and Viola (Martinez) Ulibarri. Thomas was raised in Santa Rosa where he also attended school. Thomas was a life-long resident of Santa Rosa who enjoyed reading the Bible, spreading the word of God and listening to Christian music—he was also a member of The Door. Thomas was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He enjoyed road trips and especially enjoyed the time he spent with his family. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, twin brother; Tim Ulibarri, brothers; Jerry Ulibarri and Anthony Martinez, maternal grandparents; Isauro and Valeria Martinez, paternal grandparents; Manuel and Veneranda Ulibarri and nephew; Leroy Ulibarri, Jr. Thomas is survived by his wife; Frances Ulibarri of the family home, daughters; Jennifer Ulibarri and spouse Nate of Albuquerque and Bernice Tenorio and spouse Kenny of Santa Rosa, sons; Michael Lee Saiz and spouse Ryan of Rio Rancho, Richard “Chimmy” Saiz of Santa Rosa and Dustin Minton of Edgewood, brothers; Matthew Ulibarri and spouse Emily of Santa Rosa, Peter Ulibarri and spouse Eileen of Rio Rancho and Leroy Ulibarri of Albuquerque, sisters; Shirley Sena and spouse Faustin of Edgewood, Violet Abeyta and spouse Herman of Santa Rosa, Eileen Porras and spouse Arturo of El Paso, TX, JoAnne Gutierrez and spouse Gene of San Diego, CA, Corrine Chavez and spouse Erminio of Santa Rosa, Sylvia Gutierrez and spouse Jerry of Albuquerque, Yolanda Acosta and spouse Diego of Amarillo, TX, Margaret Rodriguez and spouse Alfonso of Clovis and Angela Martinez and spouse Ted of Clovis, grand-daughter; Miranda Tenorio of Santa Rosa and great-granddaughters; Alanyie Lopez and Jocelynn Tenorio, both of Santa Rosa, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, family and friends. Visitation will be Friday, September 24, 2021 from 2-6pm and from 10am-12:30pm on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Chavez Funeral Home in Santa Rosa. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 2pm at The Door Church in Santa Rosa. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Santa Rosa with Michael Saiz, Nathan Carabajal, Kenny Tenorio, Joshua Tenorio, Miranda Tenorio, Matthew Ulibarri, Ryan Ehgartner, Peter Ulibarri, Emilio Ulibarri and Richard Saiz serving as Pallbearers.
