Shannon Lynn Gallegos

Shannon Lynn Gallegos, 49 of Albuquerque, NM passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, July 3, 2019. Shannon was born in Denver, Colorado to the home of Pauline Jaramillo and her step-father; Andrew Lawson on June 9, 1970.  Shannon married Milton Gallegos on October 22, 2004 and they made their home in Albuquerque for the past 17 years.  Shannon enjoyed watching movies and watching the Denver Broncos play football, however her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Shannon is preceded in death by her mother; Pauline Jaramillo and step-father; Andrew Lawson. Shannon is survived by her husband; Milton Gallegos of the family home, her children; Dominic Tafoya of Albuquerque, NM, Jonathan Tafoya (Felycia) of Rio Rancho, NM, Alexis Gonzales (Jeff) of Albuquerque, NM and Aliyah Gonzales (Humberto) of Albuquerque, NM, her step-children; Bernadette Wilson (Tom) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Celeste Applegarth of St. Louis, Missouri, Carlos Gallegos of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Paul Trujillo (Stephanie) of Wheatridge, Colorado and Gil Cordova (Greg Ross) of Laguna Beach, California.  Shannon is also survived by a brother, Raymond Jaramillo (Crystal) of Denver, Colorado and 24 grandchildren. Visitation hours will be Sunday, July 7, 2019, the family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Chavez Funeral Home, 923 S. Third St., Santa Rosa, NM  88435.
