Robert "Bobby" Aragon, 66 of Las Vegas, NM passed away at his home following an illness. He was born November 13, 1951 in Fort Sumner the son of Alice Gonzales and Ernesto Aragon. Robert attended Fort Sumner Schools. He married Ramoncita Pineda on November 14, 1970 in Albuquerque. Robert Aragon was best known for owning a mechanic shop named Poor Boys, as well as, countless homes he built throughout NM. He enjoyed fishing, throwing horseshoes, shooting guns, watching football, and WWE wrestling with his family every week. He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard Aragon; a sister, Mary Montano and a nephew Eric Aragon. Survivors include his wife Ramoncita Aragon; his son, Domonic (Katymae) Lopez; daughter, Ernestine (Adam) Lopez; granddaughters, Amberlynn (Santiago) Sena, and Monaica (Joshua) Lopez; and one great grandchild Oliver. Also surviving are three sisters; Miquela, Donna, and Gina; and four brothers, Sonny, Jimmy, Jose, and Nick.Visitation will be held on Friday, November 16th from 1pm to 6pm at the funeral home and Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 11 am to 1 pm at The Church on The Hill. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, November 17, 2018 from The Church on The Hill in Fort Sumner with Sister Anna Teeter-Gentile officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Sumner Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Domonic Lopez, Santiago Sena, Joshua Hillis, Adam Lopez, Benny Aragon, and Ernesto Aragon. Arrangements are under the direction of Chavez Funeral Home, 830 N.
