Butch Lee

Richard "Butch"  Alan Lee, 56, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on December 13, 2023 following a sudden illness. He was born on October 5, 1967 in Maine, but grew up and attended schools in Hereford, Texas, graduating with the class of 1986. Butch spent the last 15 years living in Iowa, but recently moved to Portales to live with his daughter, Montana. While in Portales, he worked for his son-in-law as a machine operator. When he wasn't working, or spending time with his kids and grandkids, Butch enjoyed riding his motorcycles.

Butch is preceded in death by his father Alfred Lee, step-mother Janice Lee, and one sister Angela Lee. A loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend Butch will be missed by his two daughters: Montana (Frank) Levacy and Jessica (Jerett) Norman, and one son Colby Lee all of Portales, NM. He is survived by his 3 brothers: Timothy (Leah) Lee of Clovis, NM, Ronnie Lee of Lubbock, TX, and Charlie (Sabrina) Lee. Also surving are 6 granddaughters: Cacie, Kambri, Kali, Timberlen, Ester, Emory, and 6 grandsons: Wyatt, Cason, Kye, Kayden, Olen, and Lathe.

Cremation will take place, no services are scheduled at this time.
