Ramon Madrid

Ramon Madrid, 80 of Albuquerque, NM passed away on May 23, 2021. Ramon was born in Santa Fe, NM on December 13, 1940, to Paul Madrid, Sr. and Florinda (Montoya) Madrid. Ramon was raised in Vaughn, NM where he attended school as well. Following high school, Ramon served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. Upon his discharge, Ramon lived in Vaughn where he was a parishioner at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church before making his home in Albuquerque. Ramon is preceded in death by his parents, a brother; Frank Madrid, a nephew; Patrick Madrid, and a sister; Christine Madrid. Ramon is survived by his brothers; Paul R. Madrid (Luggie) of Vaughn, NM, Luis Madrid (Gloria) of Albuquerque, NM and Dr. Dennis Madrid (Carla) of New York, NY and his sister; Berna Greer of El Paso, TX as well as numerous nephews, nieces, family, and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 28, 2021, at 10:30 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Vaughn, NM with Father Sotero Sena celebrating the Mass. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Vaughn, NM with his brothers Paul Madrid, Luis Madrid, and Dr. Dennis Madrid serving as Urn Bearers.
