Norman Harris

Mr. Norman Harris 68, passed away on Saturday May 5, 2018 in Santa Rosa NM.  Norman was born June 29, 1949 in Lufkin TX.  His family moved to New Mexico when he was very young.  He was a resident of Albuquerque for many years before moving to Santa Rosa. He resided at Vecino Sanos Assisted Living Facility. Norman was affectionately known by his family as “Sonny”.  Norman was a gentle quiet man with not a lot to say, but he was very observant and enjoyed watching and getting a kick out of the day to day hustle and bustle of the facility.  He always had a smile on his face, and occasionally would take a walk around the facility. He helped out once in awhile by pushing a wheel chair around with a resident in it for company on his walks.  He looked forward to his daily orange soda, cheetos, and orange candy slices, he also enjoyed playing Bingo.   Norman will be truly missed here at Vecino Sanos, we all love him very much. Survivors include his family throughout New Mexico, Washington and Arizona.  He has children and grandchildren, Aunts, Uncles, Nephews and Neices. There will be a memorial service for Norman at Vecino Sanos on May 24, 2018 at 10:30 with a meal to follow.
