Nickoli J. Salazar

Nickoli J. “Nicko” Salazar, age 18, currently of Santa Fe, NM and formerly of Puerto De Luna, NM passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 24, 2021 in Santa Fe, NM. Nicko was born January 26th, 2003 in Las Vegas, NM to Carolina Flores. Nicko was preceded in death by his Great Grandmother Phyllis Bingham, Grandmother Angelina Rael Quintana, Great Aunt Terry Schwartz, Biological Mother Carolina Flores and his Parents J. Julian Salazar and Collette Salazar. Nicko is survived by his two Brothers Ernesto J. Salazar and wife Dyanne of Santa Fe, NM and Martin X. Salazar and wife Julie of Albuquerque, NM. Step Mother Angie Moncayo of Puerto De Luna and her children Carla Jordan (Eric) and Freddie. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews Rhiannon, Isaac, Xavier, Anthony, Jordan and Ariana. He is also survived by his aunts Romanita and husband Jon Campos of Rio Rancho, Inez Shessley and husband Larry of PA and Patricia Clemons and Jon of Los Lunas. Nicko is also survived by close cousins Jeff Anaya, Jherika Anaya-Campos, Hyacenth Sedillo, Skye Sedillo, Bobbie Lopez, Madison Lopez, Adrian Lopez, Aiden Lopez, Martin Madrid, Andres Madrid, Freddy Moncayo Jr. and Elias Moncayo. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, July 4, 2021 from 1-6 PM at Chavez Funeral Home in Santa Rosa. Recital of Holy Rosary followed by Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, July 5, 2021 at Nuestra Senora Del Refugio Catholic Church in Puerto De Luna, NM with Father Sotero A. Sena officiating. Cremation will follow the services; Interment will be held at a later date. Serving as Pallbearers will be Jeff Anaya, Rhiannon Salazar, Jherika Anaya-Campos, Ruben Saiz, Martin Madrid and Andres Madrid.
