Max "Bud" Linn, 92, passed away early Tuesday morning, April 18, 2023, at his home in Ft. Sumner, NM. He was born April 06, 1931, in Whiteriver, AZ and grew up and was a longtime resident of Kingman. There he met his best friend and the love of his life Jean Guess. Bud married Jean in 1947. Bud served in the United States Army as a heavy equipment operator during World War II. He helped to rebuild an airport in Nancy, France. In 2003 they purchased a ranch northwest of Yeso, near Ft. Sumner, NM. They sold the ranch and moved to Fort Sumner in 2006 where they owned several farms.
Bud is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jean in December 2016, one daughter Stormie Linn in 2022, and one brother Jack Linn. Survivors include one son Pat Linn of Scottsdale, AZ along with seven grandchildren, and twenty-three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, good neighbors, and friends.
