Maryann Trujillo Gutierrez

Maryann (Trujillo) Gutierrez, 71 of Santa Rosa, NM passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, September 23, 2020. Maryann was born on August 22, 1949 in Vaughn, NM to the home of Joe Trujillo and Lucy (Arguello) Trujillo. Maryann was raised in Vaughn, where she also attended school. She and her late husband, Fermin, worked for many years in various positions and at various motels as well. Maryann was a wonderful individual who was known to help so many people in Santa Rosa. Maryann is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Fermin, grandsons; Joaquin Gutierrez and Luciano Aragon and brother; Daniel Trujillo. Maryann is survived by her son Fermin Gutierrez, Jr. (Naomi) and siblings; Sofia Trujillo, Frankie (Carrie) Trujillo, Margaret (Manuel) Astorga, Bobby Trujillo, Theresa Trujillo, Susan Trujillo, Ben Trujillo, Tommy Trujillo, Estella Trujillo and David (Diane) Trujillo. She is also survived by three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 27, 2020 at the Chavez Funeral Home Chapel in Santa Rosa. Burial followed at St. Joseph Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers were Jonathan Gonzales, Jr., Marcus Tapia, Angelo Trujillo, Anthony Moncayo, Michael Cordova, Antonio Hern and Robert Lujan. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Social Distancing guidelines, services were private and limited to the immediate family. We ask that you keep Maryann and her family in your prayers.
