Mary Dale Gonzales Apodaca

Mary Dale Apodaca, 73 of Santa Rosa, NM, passed away peacefully in Albuquerque, NM on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Mary Dale was born on April 12, 1948 in Santa Rosa, NM to Helen Gonzales. Mary Dale was raised in Santa Rosa, where she also attended school. On June 16, 1984, she married Leroy Apodaca in Willard, Utah. They made their home in Santa Rosa, where Mary Dale worked as a waitress in various restaurants and later worked as a caregiver. Mary Dale was a Jehovah’s Witness, where she was active in her faith. In her spare time, Mary Dale enjoyed flower arranging and particularly enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren. Mary Dale is preceded in death by her mother: Helen Gonzales. Mary Dale is survived by her husband: Leroy, her children: Melaine Gallegos, Adam (Annette) Madrid and Bryan Chavez, her grandchildren: Angelica, Andrea, Mateo, Noah and Mariella Madrid and Felicity, Ai'Jsha, and Ricky Chavez, her brothers: Martin (Anita) Gonzales and Herman Gonzales, as well as many family, relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, February 4, 2022 from 1-6pm at Chavez Funeral Home in Santa Rosa. Cremation will follow with private family services.
