Marvin Glenn Crim

Tulalip, Washington

Marvin Glenn Crim, 87, of Tulalip, Washington, passed away peacefully at 11:55 am Sunday, March 03, 2024 at his home. He was born August 30, 1936 in Appleton, Colorado. He attended school in Grand Junction, Colorado, and graduated with the class of 1955. In high school he was involved in wrestling where won second place at the state wrestling championship. In later years he found great joy in watching his grandsons wrestling.

Marvin married Margaret Denton on September 09, 1955. Marvin was a Jack-of-all-trades. He held various jobs to include dairyman, a miner, and both produce and truck driving. He has made his home in Colorado, Washington State, and New Mexico. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fort Sumner, NM. His love was very deep for Jesus and he believed in the power of prayer. Marvin enjoyed water skiing, snow skiing, camping, gardening, and he enjoy talking to people. His pride and joy was his four girls, and family. His favorite food was a Number 7 with a Coke from McDonald's .

Marvin is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Wanda McClusky, and his daughter Betty A. Smith. Survivors include his wife Margaret Crim of Tulalip, Washington. His three daughters: Marva K. Pegoda and husband Larry, Marlene Hebert and husband Ron, Wanda Ray and husband Martin. Also surviving is one brother Roger Crim and wife Diane of Noblesville, Indiana, 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren,  along with a host of many other relatives and friends.


Graveside services will take place on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Crim Family Plot at the Fort Sumner Cemetery, with his brother Mr. Roger Dean Crim officiating.
