Maria Juarez

Maria U. Juarez May 21,1941- December 10, 2018 Maria is preceded in death by her father Eduardo Garcia, mother Rebecca Coomer and sister Martha Vasquez. Maria was born May 21, 1941, in Cebolla, NM. Her family later moved to Roswell, NM where she and her siblings grew up and where she would attend St. Peters Catholic School. In 1959 she married Jesus T. Juarez and they would spend time living in California. In 1969 they eventually moved to and settled in Las Vegas, NM and that is where she would raise her children. Maria retired from the State Hospital in 1989 and would then open Enchanted Daycare in 1990. She would remain in business for 23 years, loving every child she cared for and maintaining relationships with many of them until her death. She is survived by her children: Jesse T. Juarez, Joseph M. Juarez, Louis E. Juarez, Tina Willis and her husband Kenneth, Remi D. Cordova and wife Yvonne. Her Grandchildren: Jennie Vatoseow (her favorite), Rebecca Willis, Maximo Willis, Quik Cordova, and Aurijah Cordova. Brothers: Raymond Garcia, Eddie Garcia, Jerry Garcia, Albert Garcia, Louie Garcia, and their wives and children and grandchildren. A Rosary and Mass will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018, at 9 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM. With a reception to follow.
