Margaret Crim 86, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Tulalip, Washington at her home with family by her side.
Margaret was born December 6, 1937 in Fruita, Colorado, the daughter of Porter and Emma May Denton. She married Marvin G. Crim on September 9, 1955 in Grand Junction, Colorado. The two were each other’s lifelong companions and friends for 68 years. They were blessed with four daughters: Marvakay, Marlene, Wanda, and Betty.
Margaret worked hard at numerous jobs. She worked for K-mart for years until her retirement in 2002. Margaret made her home in Colorado, Washington State, and New Mexico. She was a member of The First Baptist Church in Fort Sumner, N.M. Margaret enjoyed quilting, gardening, camping and traveling. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Marvin G. Crim; a daughter Betty Ann Smith; her sister Betty Paylor; her brother Marvin Turner, and her parents Porter and Emma Denton.
Margaret is survived by her three daughters, Marvakay Pegoda and husband Larry of Anderson of Indiana; Marlene Hebert and husband Ron of Cameron, North Carolina; Wanda Ray and husband Martin of Chehalis, Washington. Brother in-law Roger Crim and wife Diane of Noblesville, Indiana and sister in-law Bobbie Turner of Centralia, Washington. Margaret has 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, along with a host of many friends.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, August 3, 2024 in the Crim family plot, Fort Sumner Cemetery, Fort Sumner, New Mexico.
