Lucy M. Sisneros

Lucy Sisneros, 88 of Vaughn, NM was welcomed home into the arms of her Lord and Savior on January 13, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Lucy was born on June 18, 1934 In Sombrillo, NM to the home of Guillermo and Bennie (Apodaca) Sisneros.

She is preceded in death by her parents Guillermo and Bennie Sisneros, son Robert, daughter Cuca, and brother Willie.

Lucy is survived by her son Braulio Rodriguez Jr. of Vaughn, NM, daughter Angela Cole and husband Larry of Carlsbad, NM, daughter Annette Samaniego and husband Michael of The Colony, TX, and son Eno Rodriguez of Carlsbad, NM; 8 grandchildren, Jason, Isaac, Alysha, Adrienne, Erik, Kristen, Nate and Braulio Rodriquez, III; as well as 14 greatgrandchildren.

Mother’s passion was sewing and making blankets that she gave to her family and many friends. If you have one, please cherish it forever because it was made with “Love”.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 10-10:50am at Saint Mary's in Vaughn.

Recitation of The Most Holy Rosary, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial, will be on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 11am at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Vaughn, Father Timothy Meurer celebrating the Mass. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Vaughn with family members serving as pallbearers.
