Lisa M Oglesby

Lisa Marie Oglesby, 42 of Tucumcari, NM passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, December 5, 2024.

Lisa was born on October 13, 1982 in Albuquerque, NM to Eddie Armijo and Mary A. (Jaramillo) Armijo. Lisa was raised in Albuquerque, NM and Cubero, NM where she attended elementary school. She attended middle and high school at Laguna Acoma.

Lisa made her home in Tucumcari in 2009. She was a parishioner at St. Anne’s Catholic Church and worked in corrections. Lisa married Joshua Oglesby on October 6, 2024.

Lisa will be remembered as an individual who liked to joke around, she enjoyed going to the lake, cooking and cruising, she could always brighten up a serious situation—and certainly enjoyed her sleep. However, Lisa’s greatest joy came from the time she spent with her children and family.

Lisa is preceded in death by her biological mother: Maria Page, biological sister: Diana Armijo and uncle: Luis Armijo.

Lisa is survived by her husband: Joshua Oglesby, her children: Arianna Alderete (Trey Williams), and Marisol A. Hernandez, parents: Eddie and Mary Armijo, her brother: Antonio Armijo and sister: Christina Armijo, niece: Cyann Armijo and nephew: Richard Armijo, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, family and friends.

Recitation of The Most Holy Rosary followed by the Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 10:30AM at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Tucumcari, with Fr. Cameron Degani officiating.
