Linda Quintana of Santa Rosa, NM, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 9, 2023 in Santa Rosa. Linda was born May 5, 1950 in Pompano Beach, Florida to the home of George Andrews and Ruby Brown Andrews. She graduated from Pompano Beach High School in 1968. She worked as a legal secretary after graduating, before moving to Santa Rosa. She went on to work as an abstractor for C.J. Webb at Fidelity Abstract, as the Executive Secretary for Guadalupe County Correctional Facility in Santa Rosa and at Northeast NM Detention Facility in Clayton, NM; She worked for both The Communicator and the Santa Rosa News over the years, as well as working in freelance writing. Most recently, she was employed with The Community News Exchange of New Mexico. Linda loved reading, writing and collecting and listening to music. She enjoyed crocheting and art. She loved being in the company of her grandchildren. Linda is preceded in death by her father George Phillip Andrews in 1983, her mother Ruby Irene Brown in 2000 and her daughter in law, Debra Romero in 2021. She is survived by husband Tommy Quintana, son Andrew Quintana, daughter Megan Quintana and Kevin Campos, four grandchildren, Major Johnson, Willow Johnson, Aries Campos and Luke Campos, all of Santa Rosa; two brothers, Michael Phillip Andrews of Santa Rosa and George Patrick Andrews of St. Augustine, Florida as well as many other family and friends. A Celebration of Life will take place, Sunday, January 22, 2023 at 2PM at the Blue Hole Convention Center in Santa Rosa. Services are under the direction of Chavez Funeral Home, 923 S.
