Larry L. Renfro passed away peacefully, following a brief illness, on November 2, 2020 at his home in Wickenburg, Arizona. Larry was born on July 15, 1951 in Hayti, Missouri. He spent his childhood in Los Alamos, New Mexico and then moved to Albuquerque where he lived many years and built his own Soil Engineering and Testing firm. He relocated to The Woodlands, Texas in 1990 where he worked for a multi-national oilfield equipment manufacturing company. During his oilfield career, Larry lived and worked for several years in Spain, Singapore, Texas, California, Mexico, Arizona and back to Texas. He retired in 2014 and moved to Wickenburg, Arizona. He loved the desert and was an avid golfer, and at the time of his death, carried a single digit handicap. Larry had a knack for making friends, and kept in-touch with many throughout his life. He lived a rich life full of friends, great music, and wonderful memories. There is no blueprint for life and Larry made the most of it. He was loved and will be missed by his family and friends alike. Larry is survived by his wife, Jacki; son Steve (Jennifer); two grandchildren; his mother, Mary Renfro; his brother, Greg (Deanne); and a niece and nephew. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Renfro and his brother, Steven (Butchie). His ashes are to be spread at his favorite places. He was definitely one of a kind and lived life to the fullest. We will all miss him.
