Jimmy Calvin Neagle born to Frank and Irene Neagle on September 8, 1933 in Amarillo Texas. Jimmy lived in San Jon, New Mexico until the eleventh grade. The Neagle family then moved to Artesia, New Mexico where he graduated from Artesia high school in 1951. At the great age of 19, Jim was drafted into the U.S. Army where he served for two years in Germany. In 1955 Jimmy married Joyce A. Hopper in Bernalillo, New Mexico. Jim, Joyce, Jeff and Kevin left New Mexico and moved to Bountiful Utah in 1969. After 44 years working in the oil and gas industry, Jimmy retired from Flying J Refinery in 1996. Once retired Jimmy continued to live the dream with his beautiful wife; traveling the country by motorcycle and RV, playing card games, all while cheering for the Utah Jazz. Jim and Joyce celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on September 2nd, 2021 in Middleton, Idaho where they lived since 2015. Jimmy Calvin Neagle passed away on October 6th, 2021 in Ely, Nevada. He is survived by his wife Joyce Neagle of Middleton, Idaho, two sons Jeffrey (Peggy) of Farmington, Utah and Kevin (Kim) of Nampa Idaho. Grandchildren Braiden (Katy), Nate, Broc (Sarah), Macey (Jeremy) and great grandchildren Blake, Shannon, Parks and Ruby Marie. Graveside services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the Fort Sumner Cemetery, Fort Sumner, New Mexico with Stormy and Shelly Swann officiating.
