Isidora "Lola" Saiz Miranda

Isidora “Lola” Saiz Miranda, 78 of Santa Rosa, NM, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 21, 2020 at Vecinos Sanos Assisted Living in Santa Rosa. Lola was born on November 19, 1941 in Sombrillo, NM to the home of Abel Saiz, Sr. and Eufelia (Baca) Saiz. Lola was raised in Sombrillo and attended school in Santa Rosa. A long-time resident of Santa Rosa, Lola was a faithful parishioner of Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church. She was an Avon products representative and was also a District Manager for Avon. Lola also sold burritos and tamales and loved to listen to Spanish music. She also enjoyed watching westerns on TV, playing bingo at the Senior Citizens Center and talking to her many friends on the telephone. Lola is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter; Antonia Olivia Apodaca, a grandson; Michael Snellings, brothers; Adelaido Saiz, Lurario Saiz, Abel Saiz, Jr. and Donato Saiz, sisters; Mary Ortega, Magdalena Saiz, Esther Alarid, Elena Mondragon and Agnes Siedel. Lola is survived by her sons; Edwin Dell Apodaca, Leroy Apodaca (Mary Dell) and Mark Apodaca all of Santa Rosa and George Miranda, Jr. grandchildren; Abel Apodaca of Santa Rosa, Andrew Apodaca (Melanie) of Albuquerque, Mark Apodaca of Santa Rosa, Adrian Apodaca of Taos, Nicole Flores of El Paso, TX, Amy Baca (Joe) of Santa Rosa, Phillip Roybal of Santa Rosa and Jose R. Apodaca (Toni) of Fountain, CO, brothers; Frank Saiz (Fabiola) of Santa Rosa, Arturo Saiz (Barbara) of Cedar Crest, NM and sister; Ramona Esquibel of California. Lola is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends. Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial were celebrated at 10 am on Friday, June 26, 2020, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Santa Rosa with Father Sotero Sena as celebrant. Burial of Cremains took place at St. Joseph Cemetery in Santa Rosa in the family plot. Serving as Urn Bearers are; Mark Apodaca, Adrian Apodaca, Abel Apodaca and Andrew Apodaca.
