Gloria M. Rivera

Gloria M. Rivera, 74 of Carbon, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 2, 2022. Gloria was born on June 19, 1947 in Tucumcari, NM to Benito Pacheco and Louisa (Chavez) Pacheco. Gloria enjoyed making puzzles, playing bingo, coloring pictures, listening to music and dancing and cooking; however, her greatest joy came from the time she spent with her family and friends, particularly playing with her grandchildren. Being a member of Carbon Calvary Church in Carbon, TX, Gloria enjoyed studying the Word and attending Bible Study. Gloria was a generous person, who had a big heart and a beautiful smile that would light up the room. Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, her son: Santiago Benito Pacheco and her companion: Karlinda Wanzor. Gloria is survived by her daughter: Louisa Pacheco, and son-in-law: Mario Hernandez, her daughter-in-law: Arlene Pacheco, her two grandsons: Alejandro Hernandez Pacheco and Nicolas Hernandez Pacheco and her granddaughter: Monique Pacheco. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Nathaniel and Macy Pacheco. In addition, Gloria is survived by her brothers: Robert Pacheco, David Pacheco and Joe Pacheco, her sisters: Victoria Pacheco, Diana Gonzales and Diana Sanchez, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, Godchildren, family and friends.
