Eugenio Lujan

Eugenio (Gene) Lujan, age 65, a Logan, NM, resident, passed on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, in Logan, New Mexico.Eugenio (Gene) was born July 18, 1953, in Solano, NM, to Moises and Beatrice Lujan Sr. He was raised in Logan, NM, where he attended the Logan school system. He was a member of the Catholic Church. Gene loved spending time with his friends. Eugenio (Gene) is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Manuel Lujan and Moises Lujan Jr. and a sister; Josephine Cordova. Surviving Gene are his siblings: Carolyn Garcia, Mary Lujan, Phillip Lujan of Logan, NM; Patricio (Trini) Lujan and Linda (Victor) Baca of Portales, NM; Luciana Montaño, Corine Church, Phyllis Lucero, Lucinda (Larry) Roybal Sr. of Tucumcari, NM; AnnaMarie (Tom) Trujillo of Albuquerque, NM and many nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be Thursday and Friday from 1 pm to 4 pm at Chavez Funeral Home in Santa Rosa, NM.  Rosary will be recited at 9:00 AM, October 13, 2018, at St. Antonio Catholic Church in Logan, New Mexico, followed by the Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Father John Paul Afuecheta as Celebrant. Interment will be in the Logan Cemetery.Serving as Pallbearers are; Steve Garcia, Jr., Kenny Garcia, Jonmykel Garcia and Moe Ramirez.  Honorary Pallbearers are; Freman Garcia, Ralph Garcia, and all Eugenio's friends he loved.
