Daniel "Ubba" Thompson

Daniel Thompson passed away on February 6, 2021 in Pueblo, CO. He was born on January 18, 1994 in Albuquerque, NM to the home of Ben Thompson and Cayetana DuGan. He was reared and attended schools in Santa Rosa, NM and Moriarty, NM. Daniel made his home in Santa Rosa, NM. Daniel’s hobbies included listening to music, fishing and leatherwork. As Daniel sought a career as an Executive Chef, he enjoyed cooking. However, his greatest joy came from the time he spent with his wife and boys. Daniel is preceded in death by his brother; Isaiah, mother-in-law; Marcella Romero, maternal grandparents; Michael and Marta DuGan, paternal grandfather; Kenneth Thompson, his great-grandparents, Simona and Cayetano Chavez and Marquis, Hatti DuGan, Lugarda and Enrique Zamora and Harold and Helen Thompson. Survivors include his wife; Rebecca, sons; Devin Romero, Damitri and Kenneth Thompson, his parents; Andres and Pepper Zamora of Santa Rosa, NM, his father; Benjamin Thompson of Pueblo, CO, his grandmother; Raechel Thompson of Pueblo, CO, grandparents; Andy and Susie Zamora of Santa Rosa, NM, great-grandmother; Paula Salcido of Colonias, NM, father-in-law; Dan Romero, sister-in-law; Danielle Romero (Matthew Hoehne), nephew; Ely Hoehne, his Uncles and Aunts; Ike and Jamie Thompson of Albuquerque, NM, Luke Thompson of Pueblo, CO, Tori DuGan of Moriarty, NM, Marquis and Jennifer DuGan of Garland, TX, Guy DuGan of Moriarty, NM, Justin and Rebecca Zamora of Santa Rosa, NM, Vicente and Latishia Zamora of Garfield, NM, Godmother; Josephine Chavez, Hermana; Alexandria Salazar, as well as numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Daniel will be laid to rest at Saint Joseph Cemetery with Marquis DuGan, Ike Thompson, Luke Thompson, Vicente Zamora, Juan Provencio and Matthew Hoehne serving as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will include; Devin Romero, Damitri Thompson, Kenneth Thompson, Ely Hoehne, Dazin DuGan, Quintin DuGan, Paige Thompson, and Marissa Thompson.
