Bobby Foster

Memorial services for Bobby Foster will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 22, 2021 at The Church on The Hill with Pastor Anna Teeter-Gentile officiating. Bobby Dean Foster, 59 of Fort Sumner passed away Friday, December 25, 2020 at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque following an illness. He was born August 29, 1961 in Fort Sumner to the home of Richard and Lola (Cones) Foster. Bobby grew up in Fort Sumner and attended Fort Sumner Schools. He worked for the family windmill business for several years. Bobby was a heavy equipment operator, he also worked for the Carlsbad Irrigation District removing Salt Cedar along the Pecos River. For the past five years he worked with Foster Well Service, INC digging trenches for water pipelines. Bobby married Dusti Price on February 14, 2017 at his father's home in the Fort Sumner valley. He was a member of The Church on The Hill in Fort Sumner and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed gardening, and remodeling and building his home. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents Richard "Dick" Foster and Lola Fae Foster. Survivors include his wife Dusti Foster of the home in the Fort Sumner valley, two sons Brandon Foster of Fort Sumner and Royce Foster (Michelle) of Fort Sumner. a step-son Jared Gum (Yvonne) of Clovis and step-daughter Stormy Aguirre (Chance) of Portales. Also surviving is a brother Howard Lee Foster (Karen) of Fort Sumner, six grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, three nephews and one niece. Please keep Bobby and his family in your prayers.
