Bobbie Jean Harrison, 83 of Santa Rosa, NM passed away peacefully in Albuquerque, NM on Thursday, February 25, 2021. Bobbie was born on November 24, 1937 in Albuquerque, NM to the home of Robert and Edna Perkins. Bobbie was raised in Albuquerque where she attended Albuquerque High School and later received her GED from Santa Rosa High in 1975. Bobbie married William Douglas Harrison on October 20, 1958 in Fruitland, NM. Bobbie made her home in Santa Rosa where she worked at Teeter’s, T and D Food Market and Holiday Inn. Bobbie was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Santa Rosa where she was very active. Bobbie loved to garden, she enjoyed collecting rocks and frogs and she loved the color green. Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; William Douglas “Doug” Harrison in 2013, her sister; Lorene De Toro and her grandson; Joshua Allen Harrison. Bobbie is survived by her sons; Lee Harrison of Santa Rosa, NM, Bobby Harrison (Liza) of Puerto De Luna, NM, William D. Harrison (Michelle) of Los Chavez, NM and Ralph Harrison (Wanda) of Santa Rosa, NM. She is also survived by her sister; Dorothy Holbrook, her grandchildren; Lee Ray Harrison, Christopher Harrison, Joshua Harrison, Justin Harrison and Krista Harrison and great-grandchildren; Kylee Harrison, Jeremiah Harrison, Taylor Harrison, Mason Harrison, Raegan Harrison and Cobe James. Also surviving Bobbie are her in-laws; Alice Harrison of Amarillo, Texas and Robert Harrison (Jodi) of Ruidoso, NM as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, as well as the many friends Bobbie made at Vecinos Sanos Assisted Living in Santa Rosa. The family wishes to express a special and heartfelt thank you to the staff and residents at Vecinos Sanos Assisted Living for their friendship, compassion and caring. Funeral services were held at 10:00 am Tuesday, March 02, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Santa Rosa with Pastor Beau Lamb officiating Bobbie was laid to rest in the family plot at Cuervo Cemetery in Cuervo, NM with her grandchildren serving as Pallbearers.
