Benjamin was born June 13th 2018 in Nashville, TN to Sally Brown and Justin Perez. The family moved to Santa Rosa when he was three months old to live with his grandparents Randal Brown and Antje Postl. He was a joy from the very beginning. He loved to be with his grandpa. They spent every morning together making eggs and tea for Oma (Antje). He was a bundle of smiles and he LOVED toy cars and tractors and tires, especially tractor tires. He loved to be outside. He loved roly-polys and bugs of any kind and he had a special affection for honey bees. He would pick up bees off of flowers and chat with them, and never got a single sting. He was strong “like Bull” as his grandpa would say. He ran everywhere. Benjamin lived for dessert. He would frequently act disinterested in dinner but suddenly regain his appetite when dessert showed up. Whipped cream was a must. He loved Stella Salazar who was like his second mother, and his dog Max. His entire family is grateful for the joy he brought into their lives. Benjamin is survived by his twin brothers, Marcus and Vincent Perez, his mother Sally Brown of the family farm, and his father, Justin Perez of Amarillo. Maternal grandparents are Randal Brown, Antje Postl, Ann Talbot, and Nickie Maguire. Paternal grandmother is Rhonda Bridgeman, grandfather is Freddie Perez. His paternal “Graunties” TJ (Anthony) Baker and Debbie Jones. His great-grandmother is Frances (Brown) Speight. Aunts and uncles are Sam (Jen) Brown, Stacy (Peter) Brown Cavanaugh, Sara Brown, Scott Brown, and Josh (Kristi) Maines. He is also survived by many cousins, family members, and countless others who loved him dearly.
