Bobbie "Barbara Jo" Horton (née Bryant) passed away peacefully on May 18, 2024, in Fort Sumner, NM, at the age of 84. She was born on November 20, 1939, in Albuquerque, NM. Bobbie was known for her sense of humor, creativity, and loving nature.
Bobbie leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her husband, Richard Horton; children, Spring Horton and Richard Horton, JR; sisters, Jean Taylor and Sue Hart; grandchildren, Eli Horton, Rene Sullivan, Lisa Sullivan, Christine Sullivan, and Adam Horton. Bobbie was preceded in death by her mother, Iona Ritchey, father, Edward Bryant, and daughter, Patricia Sullivan.
In her professional life, Bobbie found joy as a Dance Instructor at Arthur Murray Studios in Albuquerque, and also worked as a Telephone Operator at Bell Telephone in Albuquerque. Her passion for crafts, travel, collecting, and pets brought her immense happiness outside of work.
Bobbie's warm presence and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
