Alice Hilda Madrid

Alice Hilda Madrid was born in Pastura, New Mexico on December 13, 1946. She was a graduate of Santa Rosa High School. She married the love of her life, Charley on October 5, 1968. Together they made their home in Albuquerque, New Mexico where they raised their children. Alice retired from Albuquerque Public Schools as a teaching assistant for children with special needs. Alice was granted her wings on February 3, 2021, to be with our Lord and Savior. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Alice touched throughout her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, Estevan and Estella Baca, three sisters, Maria, Otilia, and Debbie, and a grandson, Martin Jr. She is survived by her loving husband, Charley Madrid. Two sons; Martin Madrid (Jennifer), Eric Madrid (Stephanie). Two brothers: Ray Baca (Tillie), Tom Baca (Florence). Two sisters; Nora Tapia, Betty Baca. Five grandchildren; Ashley Brito (Leo), Julian, Eric (Mom-Autumn), Arianna, Isaac. Five great-grandchildren; Alexis, Elijah, Leopaldo, Isabella, Leonardo. She is also survived by numerous friends and relatives. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Social Distancing guidelines, services are private and limited to the immediate family.
