Aaron Robert Cook Jr.

Aaron Robert Cook Jr, 49, of Clovis, NM passed away June 23, 2024 in Tucumcari, NM. Aaron was born January 24, 1975 in St. Louis, Missouri to the home of Aaron Robert Cook Sr and Dorothy Lee (Meyers) Cook. Aaron grew up in Phoenix, AZ where he attended school.

He later made his home in Clovis, NM with his longtime companion Julie Cook. Aaron loved to be in the kitchen, and was a line cook in various restaurants in Phoenix, Clovis, and Tucumcari. 

Aaron loved to listen to music, and sing karaoke. He found the most joy when he was grilling with a cold beer, telling stories with all of his family and his friends. 

Aaron is preceded in death by his parents David Warner and Dorothy Dottie Cook, his son Hank Cook, and his brother Ricky Cook. 

Aaron is survived by his longtime companion Julie Cook of Clovis, NM, his children Robin and Aaron Cook of Anton Chico, NM, and Matthew Valdez of San Jon, NM, two sisters: November (Martin) Roybal of Anton Chico, NM and Diana (David) Trujillo of Clovis, NM. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. 

Cremation will take place, with no services scheduled at this time. Please keep the Cook family in your prayers.
