Tena Renae Wisner

Tena Renae (Sexton) Wisner, 57, a resident of Fort Sumner passed away after a sudden illness on January 4, 2023. She was born May 03, 1965 in Stilwell, Oklahoma to the home of Emmett Sexton and Kahleetah (Eagle) Sexton. She grew up in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and graduated with the Tahlequah High School class of 1983. Tena made her home in Waurika, Oklahoma in 1991, before moving to Green Bay, Wisconsin in 1998. There she would meet Randall Wisner. Tena and Randall were married on March 19, 2005 in Green Bay, WI. Tena and Randall traveled all over the United States visiting National and State Parks. After all of their travelling adventures, they made their home together in Fort Sumner, NM in 2018. Tena worked as a Home Health Care worker for many years, but the work she loved the most was driving the school bus. She drove the school bus for the Oklahoma Public School System for 5 years, and after her move to Green Bay, drove the school bus there for 10 years. Tena was a proud member of the Cherokee Tribe. Tena had many passions. She loved to fill her free time crocheting. She loved photography, and documented many of her and Randall's trips via her photos. Tena was also an animal lover, and enjoyed the time she spent with her cats and chihuahuas. Tena is preceded in death by both her maternal and paternal grandparents, her mother-in-law and father-in-law: Doris and Gail Wisner, and her brother-in-law: Michael Harvey. Tena is survived by her husband of 17 years, Randall Wisner of Fort Sumner, NM, her parents: Kahleetah Sexton of Green Bay, WI and Emmett Sexton of Vian, OK, 3 children: Stacey and Christopher Karhu of Brillion, WI and their children Kyle, Bryce, and Alaysha; Karol Porterfield of Seymour, WI; and William Snider and fiancé Lindsey of Pulaski, WI and their children Rylan, Natalie, and Atlas. She is also survived by one sister Leigh Harvey of Goshen, AR. Memorial Services are pending at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Chavez Funeral Home, 830 N.
