Maria E Sisneros

Maria E. Sisneros, age 80, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on September 28. Maria was born June 13, 1927 in Cuervo, NM to the home of Sostenes and Vicenta Selgado Gomez. She was reared in Cuervo. Maria worked as a cook in numerous restaurants in Santa Rosa, she was also a housekeeper for many years. Maria loved staying home and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Jose Sisneros, sisters; Lucy Chavez, Francis Lopez, Ramona Solano and Dolores Ortiz, brother; Ralph Gomez. Survivors include her daughter Maria Zamora and husband Johnny of Los Ojos, NM, grandchildren, Bianca, Antoinette and Victoria, brothers; Vicente Gomez and wife Mary of Los Lunas and Sostenes Gomez, Jr. as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Rosary services will be held on Monday, October 1, at 7:00 PM from St. Rose of Lima Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 2, at 10:00 AM also from St. Rose of Lima with Fathe Nick Nichols officiating. Burial will follow at the Cuervo Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be Donnie Gomez, Johnny Zamora, Anthony Castillo, Frank Chavez, Michael Montano and Manuel Solano. All services are entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa.
