Nancy Archibeque

Nancy Archibeque 60, was tragically killed on September 19, in Tucumcari, NM. Nancy was born August 10, 1947 in Vaughn, NM to the home of Juan Andres and Soledad (Armijo) Archibeque. She was reared and attended schools in Vaughn. Nancy was employed as a clerk at the Microtel Inn in Tucumcari at the time of her death. Nancy enjoyed crocheting and reading but her passion in life was her son Paul whom she adored. She and Paul have made their home in Tucumcari for several years. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her son Paul Archibeque and his girlfriend Vanessa Pacheco of Tucumcari; five brothers Tom (Victoria) Archibeque, George (Martha) Archibeque, Frankie (Betty) Archibeque and Raymond Archibeque all of Clovis and Ramon (Diane) Archibeque of Albuquerque; six sisters; Maria (Bill)Lindahn of Garden Grove, CA, Teresita Sena of Clayton, Maria (Johnny) Munoz of Clovis, Maria Amelia Archibeque of Vaughn, Jane Archibeque of Albuquerque and Virginia (Johnny) Rael of Edgewood. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at the church from 5PM to 7PM on Sunday. Rosary services were held Sunday, September 23, at 7:00 PM from St. John's Catholic Church in Duran, NM. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, September 24, 2007 at 10:00 AM also from St. John's Catholic Church, Father John Jasinski officiated. Burial followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Vaughn, NM. Pallbearers were George Archibeque, Frankie Archibeque, Joey Gonzales, Juan (Jigs) Rael, Phillip Archibeque, Norbert Archibeque and the rest of her brothers and sisters. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews. All services are entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home 923 South Third Street; Santa Rosa, New Mexico. (505) 472-3369.
