Ida Muncy

Ida Muncy, age 88, passed away November 15, 2006 at her residence in Santa Rosa following an illness. Ida was born December 17, 1917 in Los Angeles, CA. She married Everet Muncy on April 8, 1960 in Taos, NM. She and Everet made their home in Guadalupe County in 1976 they ranched in Taos, Pastura and Santa Rosa. Ida was an active member of Jehovah's Witness. She loved the reading of her Bible. Ida loved people and gave of her time as a caregiver for the sick and elderly. Ida was prceded in death by her parents, her sister; Eilleen Gibson, nephews; Kenneth Carton and Carlo Trujillo. Survivors include her husband Everet Muncy of the family home in Santa Rosa, her daughter Polly Robinson and husband Chano of Santa Rosa, sister; Alice Miller of Eagle, CO, brothers; Roy Garton of Carbondale, CO and Frank Garton of Santa Rosa, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held on Monday, November 20, at 11:00 am from the National Gaurd Armory in Santa Rosa with Mr. Frank Trujillo officiating. Services are entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa.
