Erlene Kuykendall

Fae Erlene Kuykendall, 71, of Omaha, Texas died Friday, June 30, 2006 in a Mt.Pleasant, Texas hospital. She was born January 2, 1935 in Valencia County,New Mexico, to Seth and Fern Hatfield. She was the oldest of six children. She attended schools in West Texas and married Spencer A. Kuykendall on May 24, 1951, near Post, Texas. They ranched in Montana, Colorado, Texas, Oregon and New Mexico. Mrs. Kuykendall was preceeded in death by her husband Spencer, on April 18, 1994; her parents and a grandson, Ricky Don Rosewell. Surviving family members include three daughters and sons-in law; Kathy and Gary Boren of Mount Vernon, TX, Penny and Larry Russ of Omaha, TX, and Lisa and Ricky Rosewell of Cookville, TX. One son and daughter in law; Doug and Irina Kuykendall of Omaha, TX. Five grandchildren; Kelly Boren, Cody Boren, Casey Russ, April Blease and Shane Miller. Two great-grandchildren; Brhiana Boren Colby and Cason Blease. Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 3, 2006 at 1:00 PM from the Evergreen Cemetery in Vaughn. Services are entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa.
