Bitalia Trujillo

Bitalia Trujillo, age 73, passed away on December 1, 2010 at Vida Encantada Nursing Center in Las Vegas. Bitalia was born on April 28, 1937 in Puerto De Luna, NM to the home of Juan Pablo and Louisa (Sena) Valverde. Bitalia was reared and attended schools in Santa Rosa. She married Eli Trujillo on July 17, 1961. Bitlaia loved doing crafts, Reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Eli Trujillo, an infant son Tony Trujillo, a son Gilbert Trujillo; special nephew Paul Gonzales as well as numerous brothers and sisters. Survivors include her children; Yolanda Trujillo and husband Jerry, Ramon Trujillo and wife Susan; Debra Trujillo, Robert Trujillo and wife Margaret all of Santa Rosa; sisters, Eloisa Valverde of Santa Fe, Rita Gutierrez and husband John of Albuquerque and Orlando Valverde of Santa Rosa. Also surviving Bitalia are her grandchildren; Leon, Sara, Mariah, Jason, Jessica, Ellena, Stephanie, Nicole, Janel, Tomas, Mallorie and Amanda. Great Grandchildren; Anna, Troy, Max, Angelina, Diego, Delilah, Chris, Jose, Alecia, Estrya, Angelo, Reina, Eli, Adrian, Carlitos, Elias and Elijah. Rosary services were held Friday, December 3, at 6:30 PM from St. Rose of Lima Church. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, December 4, at 10:00 AM from St. Rose Church, Father Joseph Thomas, CMI officiated. Burial followed at St. Joseph Cemetery. Pallbearers were Mariah Trujillo, Leon Trujillo, Tony Del-Rael, Bryan Aragon, Sara Lopez, Randy Lopez. Arrangements were under the direction of Chavez Funeral Home, 923 S. Third Street, Santa Rosa, NM (575) 472-3369.
