Jerry "Pa Pa" Renshaw, 73 of Yeso, NM died Saturday, July 3, 2010 at his home. Jerry was born August 30, 1936 in Iowa to the home of William and Wanda (Rathbun) Renshaw. He was raised and attended schools in Los Angeles, CA. He drove a truck during the construction of the Alaska Pipeline. Jerry served as a United States Marine for two tours during the Korean Conflict and as a drill instructor. Jerry married Marlene Young on September 9, 1978 in Las Vegas, NV. He worked for the County of Los Angeles as an electrician from 1978 to 2001. Jerry and Marlene made Yeso their home in 2001. While living in California, Jerry loved boating, camping, water skiing and spending time on the beach. He also enjoyed bowling, playing pool and was a big fan of Snoopy. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents and a son Patrick Renshaw in 2002. Survivors include his wife Marlene Renshaw of the home in Yeso, NM; daughters Pam Renshaw of Florida; Heidi Renshaw of California; step daughters Pam Foley and husband Darrahl of Simi Valley, CA; Chrissy Bauman and husband Christopher of Laguna Negal, CA; Wendi Johnson and husband James of Chino, CA; stepson Jerry Ritenour and wife Sally of Choctaw, Oklahoma. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, a sister Ann Corrington and nephew Bob Corrington of California. Cremation has taken place. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
