Pauline Schilling

Pauline Patricia Schilling, age 73, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2010 at the Guadalupe County Hospital following an illness. Pauline was born on March 4, 1937 in Mobridge, South Dakota to the home of Martin C. and Pauline (Schlosser) Erck. She married Cornelius J. (C.J.) Schilling on April 23, 1959 in Mobridge, SD. C.J. and Pauline along with their children made Santa Rosa their home in 1976. Pauline was a member of St. Rose of Lima Parish and a member of the Catholic Daughters. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers; Conrad Erck and Joseph Erck, 2 sisters; Mary Ann Miller and Lorraine Dosch. Survivors include her husband C.J. Schilling of the family home in Santa Rosa, her daughter; Sandra Schilling of Reston, VA, her sons; Tom Schilling and wife Linda of Datil, NM, Ken Schilling and wife Tanya of San Antonio, TX, her grandson; Jacob Schilling and her brother; Martin Erck of Rapid City SD. Rosary services will be held on Monday, September 27, at 7:00 PM from St. Rose of Lima Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 28, at 10:00 AM also from St. Rose Church with Father Joseph Thomas, CMI officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Surviving as Pallbearers will be; Adam Gallegos, Aaron Gallegos, Dilia Ulibarri, Belle Martinez and Johnny Martinez.
