Isidro Rael 88, a lifelong resident of Vaughn, New Mexico, went home to be with the Lord on August 5, 2010. He was born May 15, 1922 in Milagro, New Mexico to Jose E. Rael, and Macaria Sisneros Rael. Isidro served his country proudly in the U.S. Army from 1942-1946 during World War II. He worked for Eugenio Perez II as a ranch foreman for thirty-three years and retired in 1984. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle. He will be greatly missed. Isidro is survived by two sons, Frank Rael and wife Cleo of Springer, New Mexico, Tom Rael and wife Loretta of Las Vegas, New Mexico, granddaughters Dolores Riach and husband Ernie of Albuquerque, Katrina Rael of Springer, New Mexico , great grandchildren Alexis and Jacob Riach, whom he adored and enjoyed, a very special nephew Pat Rael of McIntosh New Mexico, a brother Joe Rael and wife Sally of Albuquerque, a sister Florence Knauss and husband Gary of Fountain, Colorado, along with numerous nephews,nieces, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Felisa, an infant son Louie Rael, four brothers Agustine, Anastacio, Eulojio, and Severo Rael, and two sisters Frances Garcia and Cecelia Saiz. Pallbearers will include Robert Anaya, Clay Cravens, Mark Cravens, Mico Gutierrez, Pat Rael, and Joe Saiz. Rosary services will be held at 7:00 pm Monday, August 9, 2010 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Vaughn. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated from the Church at 10:00 am Tuesday, August 10, 2010 with Father Steve Sanchez officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Vaughn.
