Leroy M Pacheco

Leroy Modesto Pacheco, age 44, passed away suddenly, August 31, at his residence in La Loma. Leroy was born March 30, 1962 in Tucumcari, NM to the home of Modesto and Josie Urioste Pacheco. He was reared and attended schools in Albuquerque. Leroy married Carmen Baca on February 24, 1986 in Las Vegas, NM. He worked for the City of Albuquerque and as a Plumber with Hays Plumbing. Leroy and his family made their home in La Loma in 1994. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his sister; MaryAnn Pacheco, his brother; Jerry Urioste, his maternal grandparents Ciriaco and Flora Urioste, paternal Grandparents; Ramon and Pauline Pacheco,his Uncle; Mike Urioste. Survivors include his wife Carmen Pacheco of the family home in La Loma, his daughter Josephine Pacheco of Las Vegas, NM, his nephew Joshua Peralta, his father; Modesto Pacheco and companion Stephanie Vice of Las Vegas, his mother; Josie Pacheco of Albuquerque, brother; Rodney Pacheco of Albuquerque, mother and father in law; Julian and Eulalia Baca of La Loma, brother's in law; Julian Baca and wife Vanessa of Santa Rosa, Filemon Baca and wife Debbie of La Loma as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends. Rosary services will be held on Friday, September 1, at 7:00 PM from the Chavez Funeral Home in Santa Rosa. A Eulogy will be held on Saturday, September 2, at 1:00 PM also from Chavez Funeral Home Chapel. As per Leroy's wish, his body will be cremated and private disposition of his cremains will be held at a later date. All services are entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa.
