Julian E. Calbert

Julian Eric Calbert, age 42, passed away on June 15, 2010 in Albuquerque. Julian was born on August 18, 1967 in Tucumcari to the home of Mary Lou Calbert. He was reared and attended schools in Tucumcari. Julian was a jack of all trades; he loved drawing and was always making greeting cards and giving them to his family. He enjoyed helping people and never expected anything in return. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Juan and Genevieve Calbert and his cousin Joseph Calbert. Survivors include his children; Erica Calbert, Julian Calbert and Angel Calbert, his parents; Mary Lou and Jose Vasquez, sisters; Evelyn Calbert and husband Orlando and Raquel and husband C.J. Oglesby all of Tucumcari. Also surviving are his nieces and nephew; Kari Calbert, Destini Calbert and Juan Gallegos and a very close cousin; Bobby Calbert of Logan along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 20, beginning at 4:00 PM from St. Anne’s Catholic Church with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 21, at 10:00 AM also from St. Anne’s Catholic Church with Father Hyginus Anuta officiating. Burial will follow at Tucumcari Memorial Park. Serving as Pallbearers will be;Bobby Calbert, Robert Calbert, Rylan Calbert, Virgil Calbert, Jesse Calbert, Dennis Calbert, Jason Calbert, Lonnie Calbert, Lupe Arriega.
