A GRAVESIDE SERVICE FOR THE CREMATED REMAINS OF DAVID JONES WILL BE HELD SATURDAY, MARCH 13, 2010 AT 2:00 PM FROM ST. JOSEPH CEMETERY IN SANTA ROSA,NM. Funeral services for former Santa Rosa, NM resident David Jones were held at 10:00 am Saturday, February 27, 2010 from the Santa Rosa High School Auditorium 717 S. Third Street; Deacon Marvin Marquez officiated. Pallbearers were Jose Arviso, Matt Barela, Frankie Apodaca, Geno Perez, Tom Rogers, Tom Maki and Alfred Marquez. David M. Jones left this earth to be with our heavenly Father on Feb. 21, 2010. He was born on April 09, 1982 in El Paso, Texas to Jary and Linda Jones. He was a wonderful son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, and loyal friend to so many people whose lives he touched. David made friends easily gracing everyone with his great smile, uncanny wit and big heart of gold. David graduated from Santa Rosa High School with the Class of 2000. He went on to study and acquire his degree in Oceaneering in California. He was a certified diver working for Oceaneering International in Morgan City, LA. David had a big heart full of love for his family and friends. David is preceded in death by his father Jary Jones and grandfather Gordon Jones. He is survived by his mother Linda and step-father David Alarcon, his two sisters Michelle Jones and Crystal (Duncan) McDonald; grandmother Jeanne Jones; grandparents Carmen and Alfred Marquez; nephews Matthew, Kevan, Brayden, Hunter and Dane; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
