Delores Moore

Delores Ruth Moore 76 was born, September 17, 1933, in Ellis County, OK to Robert and Goldie Veda Fechner. She arrived at her heavenly home on Saturday, March 13, 2010. She is with her Lord and Savior after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Norman and loving companion Trixie as well as their four children, Dana, (David) Smith, Sheryl (Mickey) Cones, Nathan Moore and Janell (Dennis) Ball; her grandchildren whom she dearly loved: Michael, Crystal (Eddie), Danielle, Davette, Glynda, J’Lisa, Leandra , Johnna and one Precious Great Grandson Ethan. She is also survived by her brothers J.C.( Eunice) Fechner , Dean Fechner and her sisters Charlotte (Ralph) Erhlich, Wanda (Norman) Melzer, Liz Misemer, sister in law Margaret (Marvin) Knox and mother in law Helena (Grammar) Moore along with many precious and dear nieces and nephews. Preceding her to heaven were her parents Robert and GoldieVeda, brothers Eugene, Buddy, sister Veda Mae and a precious great grandson Caleb. Delores accepted Jesus Christ as her lord and savior at the age of 13. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Sumner, NM. God now has an Angel to play a golden piano by ear and he can throw the paper music away. The family prefers memorial contributions in memory of Delores Moore to the Baptist Children’s Home, P.O. Box 629, Portales, NM 88130, Fort Sumner Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 180, Fort Sumner, NM 88119 and Joe Arrington Cancer Research and Treatment Center, 4101 22nd, Lubbock, TX 79410. Visitation will be Monday afternoon from 1to 6 p.m. at Chavez Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, March 16, 2010 from First Baptist Church in Fort Sumner.
