Cecilia Gallegos Greenier

Cecilia G. Greenier, Age 86, a lifelong resident of Las Vegas, New Mexico passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at Northeastern Regional Hospital following a brief illness. She was born in Delia, New Mexico on April 5, 1917 to the late Jose R. Gallegos and Juanita Casaus. She was united in marriage to the late Manuel Greenier. She was a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved to crochet, sew and read. She especially loved being with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents: Jose R. and Juanita Gallegos; husband: Manuel Greenier; son: Anthony Greenier; grandson: Paul Baca; and sister: Florencia L. Gallegos. She is survived by her daughters: Suzie Baca and husband Manuel, Rachel Pino and husband Robert, all of Las Vegas, NM ; brothers: Raymond Gallegos and wife Sophia from Alamagordo, NM, Joe R. Gallegos and wife Faye from Albuquerque, NM , Joe G. Gallegos and wife Rose from Tuscon, AZ, Greg Gallegos and wife Rita from Fort Sumner, NM. She is also survived by sisters: Rosarito Gallegos and husband Benny, Ernestine Sena, and Elsie Gallegos, all of Fort Sumner, NM ; grandchildren: Manny Baca and wife Robyn, Debbie Vigil and husband Donald, Yvonne Ortega, Robert Sanchez and fiancée Rosanne, Jeanette Pino and fiancee Pat, Annette Pino, Johnny Pino and wife Diane, Jennie Pino, Suzanne Pino, Sharon Jordan and husband Gary, and Alan Greenier. Special great-grandchildren: Michael Ortega and Leandra Pino. She is survived by 25 greeat-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters-in-law Corrine Candaleria and husband Bobby, Prisilla Rubio and husband Edward all of Albuquerque, NM and best friend Mary Ann Olguin. Rosary devotional services will be conducted on Saturday, November 29, at 7:00 PM at the Rogers Chapel. A second rosary devotional service will be conducted on Sunday evening at 7:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Church. Rosaries will be recited by Los Hermanos de Nuestro padre Jesus Nazenero. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday morning at the Immaculate Conception Church. Interment will follow at the St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Las Vegas, with the following as casket bearers: Robert Sanchez, Johnny Pino, Manny Baca, Paul Vigil, Michael Ortega, and Michael Archuleta. She will lie in state at Rogers Chapel on Saturday from 2:00 PM until the time of the Rosary and Sunday all day.
