Hattie N Coury

Hattie N. Coury, a resident of Farmington passed away peacefully January 21, 2006, following an illness at the Life Care Center in Farmington. Hattie was born to Mattie Rogers in El Paso, Texas on March 1, 1922. For most of her adult life she worked as the Chief Telephone Operator in Santa Rosa, then moved to Las Cruces, and finally to Farmington in 2001. Hattie was a loving woman with high respect for life and family. She was preceded in death by her mother; husband, John and one son Bill. She is survived by her nieces, Margaret and husband, Ed Armstrong and Bette Coury, grandnieces and nephews; Coury Armstrong, Bobby Armstrong and wife Sherill, Jimmy Coury and wife Candi, Chris Coury, Mary Gary and husband J.L. and nine great grand-nieces and grandnephews. Graveside services for Hattie will be on Saturaday, January 28, 2006 at 11:00 at the St. Rose Cemetery in Santa Rosa, NM with Mr. Ernest Copeland Officiating. In Lieu of flowers please give donations to the charity of your choice. All local services are entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa.
