Darren (Webb) White, 43 of Lake Sumner, NM died Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Lake Sumner. He was born February 11, 1966 in Olympia, Washington the son of Ronald Webb and the former Evelyn Hotop. Darren was raised in Olympia, Washington where he attended and graduated from Olympia High School in 1984. He attended Evergreen State College that included a one year internship in Germany. He worked eight years for Shurgard Storage at their locations in Olympia, WA; Chicago, IL and Philadelphia, PA. Darren made his home at Lake Sumner in 1994. He worked on area ranches as a ranch hand and also worked as a handyman for several years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, hiking and rattlesnake hunting. Darren is preceded by his paternal grandparents Verl and Viola Webb and his maternal grandparents Roy and Mildred Hotop. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed by his daughter Hannah White of Rio Rancho; Hanna's mother Brenda Minton of Rio Rancho; his father Ron Webb and his wife Sonja of Olympia, WA; his mother Evelyn White of Olympia, WA; three sisters Laurel Smith and husband Dean of Olympia, WA; Ronna White and husband Michael Smith of Shelton, WA; Mary Hougan and husband Matt of Olympia, WA. Also surviving is Brenda's family Dustin Minton and wife Crystal of Albuquerque; Caitlin Fletcher and husband Curt of Denver, CO; Patrick and Nathaniel Minton of Albuqueque and Betty Minton of Fort Sumner along with six nieces and nephews Brynn Smith, Nick Smith, Karlyn Hogan, Madelyn Hogan, Jocelyn Hogan and Jaden White. A memorial service will be held at Lake Sumner at a later date.
