Robert Scott Lee of McAlister, NM passed away at his home at the age of 47 on November 29, 2009. He was born in Tucumcari, NM on March 24, 1962 to Bob and Doris Lee. He was raised in McAlister and attended school at House where he graduated in 1980. He was married to Aprile Martin on February 15, 1985 in Amarillo, TX. He spent his lifetime farming and ranching in the McAlister area and raising cattle and quarter horses. Scott enjoyed watching his children play basketball, football, run track and rodeo. He enjoyed being outdoors, helping others and loved spending time with his family. He was a member of the House Baptist Church and Captain of the House Fire Department/EMS. He was also an active member of the New Mexico Horse Breeders Association. He is loved by many and greatly missed. He is preceded in death by Grandparents Bert and Catharine Franklin, H.J. Lee, and Roberta Lee and grandson Jacob Foust. Scott was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He is survived by his wife Aprile Lee of McAlister, NM, three daughters Haily (Bo) Wallace, Lindsy (Nathan) Foust, and Sara Lee and one son Bobby Raz Lee; his parents Bob and Doris Lee of McAlister, NM two brothers Randy Lee of Edmond, OK and Johnny Lee of McAlister, NM and grandparent Leona Lee of Clovis, NM along with numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM Thursday, December 3, 2009 from the House High School Gymnasium, Rev. Sherman Martin officiated. Burial followed at House Community Cemetery. Pallbearers were Randy Lee, Johnny Lee, Bobby Lee, Warren Franklin, Mike Bowlin, Mike Morrow, Jarle Bjork, Nathan Foust and Bo Wallace. Honorary Bearers were Charles Franklin, Clifford Franklin, Drew Runyan, Wesley Runyan, Darrel Franklin, and Jimmy Snipes.
