Patricia Louise Cones

Memorial services for Pat Cones, 64 of Fort Sumner will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, November 28, 2009 at First Baptist Church in Fort Sumner officiated by Anna Teeter. Mrs. Cones died Wednesday evening November 25, 2009 at her home following an illness. Pat was born April 26, 1945 in Mesilla Park, NM to the home of George Randleman and the former Alma Baldwin. She was raised in Fort Sumner where she attended school. She married Billy Lee Cones on October 7, 1960 in Durango, CO. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fort Sumner. She enjoyed spending her time with family. Pat was preceded in death by her mother Alma Belle Baldwin in 1983; her father George Aldan Randleman in 1973 and a brother William Aldan Randleman in 1975. She is survived by her husband Billy L. Cones of Fort Sumner; two sons Billy Cones and fiance Anita of Fort Sumner; Mike Cones and wife Diana of Del Rio, TX; three daughters Mitzi Nichols and husband Joe; Lisa Joiner and husband Ricky and Sherry Munson all of Fort Sumner; a brother David Randelman and wife Twila of Aztec, NM; two sisters Doris Ayers of Fort Sumner, Joyce Kenyon and husband Lawrence of Fort Sumner. A sister-in-law Ruth Randleman of Fort Sumner, 17 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family prefers memorial contributions to the UNM Cancer Center in Pat's memory. Arrangements are under the direction of Chavez Funeral Home in Fort Sumner. (575) 355-2311
