Buckley O. Bomar, 38 of Fort Sumner died March 9, 2006 at his home in Fort Sumner. He was born December 24, 1967 in Fort Sumner the son of D.O. Bomar and the former Mary Iona Glenn. Buckley was raised on the family ranch west of House, NM. He attended and graduated from House High School. He attended Eastern New Mexico University at Portales, NM. Buckley worked on the family ranch and worked for the Fort Sumner Irrigation District. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Buckley made his home in Fort Sumner in 1998, he enjoyed reading and riding motorcycles. Survivors include two brothers Steve Bomar and wife Donna of Lubbock, TX; Tim Bomar of Clovis; three sisters Dickie Bomar of Winfield, KS; Jackie Bomar of Albuquerque; and Charlotte Bomar of House, NM; nieces and nephews Rodney Bomar, Shelly Bomar, Stephanie Bomar, Andrew (Crystel) Zamora; Jonathan (Lura) Zamora; Brittnee Roybal of House, NM; Sasha Bomar of Albuquerque; and Cedar Bomar of San Jon, NM. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2006 from House Cemetery in House, NM with Kenneth Whitecotton officiating. Pallbearers will be Steve Bomar, Tim Bomar, Rodney Bomar, Andrew Zamora, John Zamora, and John Herrington. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1pm to 6pm at the funeral home.
